Amid escalating threats to Cambodia’s sovereignty and growing cross-border repression, Khmer voices are coming together.
The Khmer Community Strategic Planning Session on September 10, 2025, will bring together community leaders, advocates, and international partners to respond to urgent developments and shape coordinated advocacy moving forward.

This session builds on the momentum of the U.S. State Department Roundtable on Cambodia held on March 26, 2025, and will focus on key emerging issues, including:

• The Thailand–Cambodia border tensions

• The assassination of former opposition parliamentarian Lim Kimya

• The regime’s expanding campaign of transnational repression
